Aha! I missed that part. Was also unfamiliar with that mod. Thanks for pointing it out :)

yep, i use a lootfilter with blockhd. i actually farmed 10k travs with reapers this ladder because i was too cheap to switch to botd or infinity. but i've timed myself with all 3 weapons. they're all the same except for the shattering. and yes like you said, he's just there for the aura. at lv90+ you have an almost 90% hit rate so infinity isn't really needed and it's a waste for only 3 mobs. decrep isn't significant enough to speed up your runs because you're already killing them with 1-2 wws.

They were not the same for me in my testing. I did this testing last year in SCNL and have deleted that character since, so not sure what my AR was on that build.

My clear speed with Reaper's was 9,4 seconds.
Infinity was 10,2 seconds.
eBOTD was 11,1 seconds.

With these numbers you'd loose 19500 items over 10K runs, using eBOTD instead of Reaper's.

not to beat a dead horse, but i showed you earlier that reapers still shatters ~0.7-1 corpse per run.

when you uploaded example of gameplay footage where it didn't shatter anything, there was at least 1 corpse shattered lol.

Reaper's is obviously a bad choice if you have shatters that frequently. I don't, though. The shattering was the reason I did the testing, and my conclusion was that Reaper's is worth using over eBOTD and Infinity if you're just looking at clear speed and loot per hour. I still prefer Infinity, though.

I mean, i showed the math, and even analayzed the footage you uploaded. Your merc hit 3-5 different monsters, which is in line with my testing. Each of which has a 20% chance to shatter. There's no way your quoted 1-2 shatters per 10 runs works out.

I'll stop beating this dead horse too. Just checked recordings from 24 runs and had 4 shattered corpses. Let's say I did 25 runs and the last one was a shatter, so 1 shatter every 5 runs or 1 shatter every 6 runs. Over those runs I probably only proced Decrep in half the runs. Make of that what you will.

My conclusion from my own experience and testing is that Infinity is the nicest weapon to have, Reaper's is great and what I recommend using.

i just recorded 3 videos to compare the weapons to show you guys that they're all the same except for reaper's shattering. i'll pm you guys when they're done processing. the conclusion i got is: reapers is a good budget weapon, botd is reapers without the shatter, and infinity is the worst because it's expensive just for 3 mobs which already have 90% hit rate at lv90+ so you're wasting 2 bers for an extra 5% hit. on hc i would use reapers over the other two because if you get d/c in the middle of the mob, it would give you the highest chance of survival.

I play HC so I don't have 90% hit rate. Infinity is convenient to have but not something I'm buying just for my Barb.
