You're right, not a WoW player.
But I'm so far going from what they've done w/ D2 which is mostly good.
Yes, released a buggy-ish product. But
a: still was definitely playable and we all got a great dose of nostalgia that first week -- definitely not bad, as say, Cyberpunk
b: our 30 minute frustrations aside, game has continuously improved and become more stable week-to-week. Queue times are shorter/non-existent, new game timeouts are shorter, hell, even chat bots disappeared!
Going off this, it says to me they're trying, and I'm not going to fault anyone for trying.
Not sure about ya'll but I've definitely felt a wave of an existential crisis this past month of what I want out of D2 and welcome new ways to play the game.
