Yes and d2jsp is ALSO going to blow up crazy rapidly and with tens of thousands of jspers trading FG in game, it definitely will have some impact on the overall economy. Maybe not week 1, but definitely shortly after the 2-week casuals leave.

I never said it was "semantics"...you just somehow think that changing the game is preserving the game..that to me is baffling...

They’re from Ajax, Ontario, Canada — played a lot of local gigs before exploding internationally. I first met them at a show and ran into them again at later shows and at OHL hockey games back when I was in high school.

I think they’re still touring but with a different drummer and an additional guitar player. Their guitarist Dave “BrownSound” Baksh’s mother worked at one of my ex girlfriend’s high school and retired pretty fast once they blew up.

I think it’s possible to change things to modernize gameplay while preserving original core elements and aspects and spirit of the game. If not then changing absolutely anything, including upgrading graphics and modernizing the server infrastructure, is doing the game a disservice right? I don’t think that’s entirely the case here, I’m really surprised with how well VV stayed true to the original tbh.

That’s awesome man! A lot of my b.net bros are Canadian or Aussies. One of my best b.net buds lives in Ontario, it’s been so long since I’ve been on I can’t remember his account name atm. I snuck into Canada illegally one time from Alaska, great people. Walked hundreds of miles in the cold to get there lol. We were on a lot of substances and ended up getting deported. The Canadian police were super nice. I told them that and they were like “Yeah were good stuff, ey?” Then they brought me socks from there home, and drove me and my friend all the way home. ThNever even put us in handcuffs. Way better than American police. They told me not to tell people how nice they are to us illegal immigrants lol When we were walking we got into all kinds of shenanigans and this sketchy guy told us when we get to border go right into woods not left cuz going left you’ll hit the censors we didn’t believe him but we did it anyway just in case. According to the police that was right, and they said they woulda sicked the dogs on us if we woulda set off the censors lol
