same to me , died many tiems due freeze. Things to improve stability :
- disable antivir
- disable any other apps like steam
- make d2 high priority in porcess
- lower quality of graphic -medium is max
- turn on frame limiter
- avoid tele switches / found that tele is bugged.
- use shield

He did alt f4. Nothing happened and thats why he ctrl+alt+deleted.

VERY curious, for everyone that has had this bug..... did you have multiple programs running, recording gameplay, streaming?

had this bug happen in SC many times (Playing hc right now is loool)

why anyone would want to play HC when bugs are out are beyond me

or maybe this way you can blame blizz instead of your inevitable death.

I won’t go hc till bugs are cleaned up , was all I played back in the day when I had time , nowadays with kids and work uhhh i dunno maybe 1 char

I am even using just other pc to watch movies and use discord, instead of the one d2r is running

What you speak of in 95% of cases you are instantly removed from the lobby you were in and your character is fine.

I have heard people say they have logged back in a SC character and their corpse was on the ground ground though.

But everytime I have crashed like you described everything was fine.

What these guys are talking about is a freeze that doesn't close your game out and you have to force close, the client thinks you're still present in game.
