Real money transaction. jsp is fine, but when you enter a game you gotta state your jsp name anyways so theres 1 way they can catch you

So out of the thousands of games being made, they are looking throigh every chat log to determine if someone uses jsp?

Do they look for keywords like "jsp" or "fg" because I never use those words

I promise you, no one is going to judge you, 99% of JSP has botted LOD, and even more have used MH in the past. Just be honest, So we know what is unsafe.

Didn't know I am in the 1%! I don't think so many ppl bot or botted here in the past. The heavy users maybe, but there are lots of smaller users who just trade every couple of years and don't get involved in 'unfair methods'.

Nah everyone and their mother used maphack or botted. Very rare to see someone wh odid neither in LOD.

honestly though, After people saw what happened with Chobot. . . like, yeah. Game is pretty safe.

Recieving unperm / exploited items will not get you banned.

I was just saying I don't have much of a reputation here either way, I'm aware of D2JSPs history. I've botted or exploited in many games, it's not something I'm against and think it's up to the game devs to deal with it. That being said I've used nothing at all 3rd party for D2R. I've strictly traded on D2JSP and through discords and that's it. If you take a look at my post history I think it's pretty clear I wasn't "efficiently" doing much at all or running bots.

I started ladder as a MF Blizz Sorc, struggled to get through hell and farmed a bunch of andariel. Then I switched to a goldfind barb and have been farming council in trav. In between I've done a couple Chaos Sanctuary runs with pubs or the couple people I know who also play. I'm still trying to learn how to know what items are worth keeping and which aren't. As of yesterday I wanted to start crafting and found some guide on here but realized I need level 93 to gamble amulets for that so was just doing trav runs until that eventually came and continuing to gamble coronets.

I really wish I could point towards something else because as of right now I was enjoying the game quite a bit but have no interest in re-buying when I got banned and have no explanation for it.

Did you guys really get banned for using d2jsp? Ive been using and stating my jsp accoutn in game wince 2007 in d2. If they just decided to ban people thay qould be strange. I havent been on the game tonight so i cant tell if im banned or not. I hope ita not for using jsp

I feel you, I haven't been banned myself but I fear it could happen. I helped some dude with nm baal and we both tele'd from wsk2 wp. On wsk3, I happened to find throne super quick while he went on another direction. He said to be careful because I could get banned for that. I asked wth hell meant and he replied "map hack." This was the first time we played together, and he based the map hack assumption on seeing me get lucky with guessing the direction on a map one time. Maybe I was trolled, who knows.
