you can forfeit some points in werewolf/lycantrophy to do it, you don’t have to fully synergize it to be effective either. To put it in perspective the popular hybrid rabies/fury (which isn’t that effective anymore in 2.4 sadly), was able to max the two synergies and still have Fury. Firestorm also has two synergies, however you want at least enough points in werewolf for an IAS BP that allows for 3 frames with highlords + Loh and perhaps 15ias/mod jewel in helm if needed, won’t need that many. Grief PB reaches 3 frames very easily.

Note werewolf also gives AR, but Grief has ITD, you don’t need AR.

What site did you use to calculate 38? I tried highlords with 34 and 38 grief but struggled to see the difference. Maybe it's so fast it's difficult to see? =P

Ah ok, thanks. My slvl is only 29 so I guess I want even hitting the fastest attack speed. Is it correct that you need slvl 38 with the highlord + 38 grief setup?

Main problem is that there are a LOT of fire inmunes.

How does the firestorm synergy work with phoenix? I found I don't have many skills left for firestorm. Would you go hybrid?

Sadly not. You attack 5 to 6 times a second with fury. Your chance to cast firestorm is 40% with a 04 seconds cast delay.

It's just the additional - res that are great. Anything else is way worse than grief. No 3 fps. No DS. No 180% extra ed against demons. Less overall dmg.


I want them to add the lvl cast like auras. Those skills are always underwhelming. Lvl 44 firestorm would be 6k instead of just 1.5k for lvl 22
