I tried telling myself that too. It worked to a limited extent for a few days, but here I am.

Regardless of a game, a sport, a school project, a work contract, or anything in life, if you work towards a goal and have it robbed from you in an instant, it will be horrible.

I genuinely appreciate your comments and can only take solace knowing that I might help prevent this happening from someone else.

To those reading, I now know this is a known bug, but I'm willing to be there are many who do not and did not know about this.

as someone who is saving crafting material to do a big crafting session, what should i do to avoid this?

do not store them all on one one character, especially amulets with lots of modifiers

1. Do not craft more than 50 at a time and store them, 70 at the most.
2. After every small batch eg) the 5-10 crafts that you use make at a time, review them and sell the useless ones
3. When you're done, keep no more than 50-70 in any one tab (an above user stated the maximum may be 92).

I kept 97 amulets in my personal stash tab, went to check a mule for a minute, came back to poofed items.

It's tempting to do a big batch, but everything that happened to me can be avoided by doing it in small batches and selling off the junk as you go. GL with your crafts.

Everyone who's saying it's just a game... sure its a game thats he's likely spent 100's of hours grinding.

Anyone who values their time would be pissed if this happened to them.

For amulets, you would craft the items on a level 93 character ideally and then transfer them afterwards to a mule.

As you craft them amulets, sell off the useless ones to a vendor and only keep the good ones. (I made the mistake of storing 100 with the idea of looking at them later).

Even if you can safely keep 92 amulets or less according a user above, I would be safe and store no more than 50-70 at a time on a mule. Store even less if you can help it.

If you have store a large amount of amulets, do it on a mule and to be safe, do not store more than 70 amulets in a personal or shared stash tab.

Though I agree that it's pointless to store trash amulets, I certainly didn't know at the time what would happen.

I was going to review all of the amulets I crafted at once and logged out of the main character to grab remaining crafting materials.

Obviously, that was enough to trigger the overflow error and I learned the hard way.

Cant believe blizzard hasn't fixed this yet. Wtf.
