First not bad gloves for progression


I realized by accident that if you are along a wall and cast the spirit between you and Andy, the spirit gets stuck between you. This creates an impassable barrier between you and Andy since the spirit is both phys and poison immune. After I could repeat this consistently, the runs became very safe and faster too since I could just swing away instead of having to run around a lot. They are still long runs though.

New merc armor for now. Will probably use this until Treachery? He still can't stay alive atm though and just messes up the runs with his silly ai.

No room for this at the moment, but I am saving it.

Well hm, this is pretty fast even compared to Steel Military Axe. Most of my damage is Fire and Crushing Blow damage. So IAS is more important than actual damage at this stage.


Plus it just looks so sweet

I tried it out and it's better than the axe! I guess Hobbes is a Bow Bear for now.

I'm still doing NM Andy runs at the moment, but if I can get a couple more gear upgrades I think I'll continue to NM Meph without Ribcracker. He has almost the same chance to drop it as Andy, but he can also drop a lot of better stuff that Andy can't. So I'll just go for a couple more upgrades, String of Ears and Rockstopper would be awesome... And then I'll move on to NM Meph!
