The jewel is always at full power against broken immunes by sunder so you can have df 40%cold dmg / -10

Vs -12 no skill

Is there even a choice to be made there?

Doom would need -250res to start competing

You can get -100 real cold res with a doom and only 1 pt in cold mastery

You can make blizz and all synergies and frozen orb at lvl 96 this way. It’s intriguing to me, especially if blizz is better at killing heralds than nova.

If oculus kills me then so be it I was destined to die. But to be serious hoto is actually poopoo for blizz sorc, I'd only use it if I didn't have doom or fathom
