Im stuck on this step:

Extract Data:

Inside CascView, navigate into the data folder.
Select the folders within and click Extract.
Pick a temporary destination, such as a "work" folder in your Downloads.

,,Failed to extract the file "binaries\releaseanticheat\x86_64\dxilconv7.dll". The file is not present in the local storage.

The comparison about loading time is as below by using D2R extractor (-direct -txt)

BEFORE vs AFTER

Into game A1:
8.2s vs 3.1s

WP to A2:
7s vs 2s

WP to A3:
6.8s vs 2.8s

WP to A4:
3.5s vs 1.3s

WP to A5:
8.2s vs 4s

Very useful and thank you Roneye!

Only one question is that I can't load my mods anymore...

when you start D2R with -direct -txt it will use the extracted files and not your mods

you will have to start game with -mod modname (and the way how mods work is that any file present in your mod folder is used, otherwise the default in game files are used, the original packed ones - slow)

You would have to copy the mod files into the extracted files (in the case you always use the mod for any client) or create a modified mod and launch clients depending on your need (one with all original extracted files, one with mod) - there are bunch of D2R launchers you can search github, reddit, we cannot cover it here I assume.
