the best build makes use of -55% enemy light res from infinity.

Static does more dmg with infinity build which is about half of your total damage and the mana sustain is significant since your mana is also your health pool. Depending on the area and enemies, you will lose mana significantly and allows you to position move offensively. The synergy between medi prayer and cure also completely negates poison and sustains your merc. You’ll also have more efficient casts at 105 and have fewer redundant casts due to the slower cast rate allowing for greater precision.

Except that with infinity you will have -170 enemy lightning resist against non immune monsters. Most non immune monsters will have 70 or less lightning resist, putting them at -100 resist. Meaning your 5k nova does 10k damage. Those monsters have less than 10k life.

So it doesn’t matter. You are killing then regardless of what your chatavher screen damage says.

But against non immune monsters, the - enemy lightning resist creates a large delta on damage
