They should bring back the old sunders which can drop from any TZ monster and leave latent sunders the same. Without a reliable way to gain a sunder charm several builds are not functional worth a damn. Needing a sunder charm to acquire a sunder charm....

devs get all their balance decisions and ideas from the retards at reddit, so they're definitely going to cave to whining casuals with 10 wives, 17 children and 90 dogs and make them drop more frequently. I bet 1fg on it. Also, what did people do prior to the existence of sunder charms? Piss and shit yourselves over immunities?

Terror zones didn’t exist prior to sunder charms. Folks were fine playing their blizz sorc, hammerdin or only target farming niche areas. We know that doesn’t have to be the only way to play d2 anymore.

its stupid how finding the lesser latent version is the hard part, and crafting a the renewed version which is a million times stronger takes mats which are cheap as shit.

finding the mats to craft a renewed should be alot harder, and finding a latent should come sooner. spend more time farming with the ability to get through enemies with your desired build, then work with a junk sunder to find gear with pierce and also farm
the mats for the renewed version. the way it is now, players will essentially be crafting renewed versions as soon as a latent drops... which is dumb.

a renewed sunder should be as hard to farm as something like mangsongs or griff or wtv, maybe even slightly harder. a latent sunder should be like mfing a shako.

dropping sunders just from elites in tzones is fine since you can only make tzones after baal q, but the drop rate in lod was too high. the hoops one needs to jump through for heralds feels restrictive and i think it sucks.

You need the shards not only to upgrade them but also to farm them. Why would you terrorize whole acts if you could just leave and rejoin any current tz? To run cows tz one time? That contradicts the whole purpose of shards. Imo the best thing they added to this game since lod
