Beyond that idk why bots are bad. In game items are worth roughly the same with or without bot

i.e. shako = um rune

blizzard doesnt care about d2r.... Project Diablo 2 has more players then d2r. If blizzard was smart they would invest a little into a skin shop for d2r and add all of the features of project diablo or Path of Diablo into d2r. They could make money.... I cant wait for a private server to crack the d2r code and release a updated graphics Project Diablo like server.

Therefore, if you are playing pvm, bots have no playability negative impact. Only thing they affect is how much $ you can sell or buy something for.

It all comes down to bots.

If you could start the season, buy some basic gear and be reasonably sure that you could farm it back in a week or two, a lot more people would still be playing.

But, as it is right now, if you buy a wizardspike day 1, you kinda have to find and sell a ber day 3 to make up for it

If you play jsp, then yes the bots beat you at jsp

It’s fun to find items and for them to have value. Bots have always existed the difference is there used to be MANY more players than bots. Now there are actually more bots than players. You don’t see these bots because they’re in private games, where they used to be public hosting Baal and chaos runs but they exist and the evidence is in the items for sale. Finding a shako, occy, war travs, even a ber rune means jack shit now despite it taking many hours of game play. If you just like pvp then it’s great because you can buy everything with fg for cheap.

The items still have the same value in relation to each other. The only thing the changes is the fg/$ of an item

Shako is worth an Um rune. Doesn’t matter if Shako is 1fg or 100,000 fg, that means um is worth 1fg or 100,000fg. The only thing that is changing is the fg/$ value. This is what is called deflation. Where your money buys more things. It’s a good thing, no matter what central banks want you to believe

You’re missing the point. You’re correct so I can’t blame you. Let me explain this a different way. The issue i have is what’s the point of playing the game and mfing to find items when I can just buy them in a week for next to nothing in fg. It’s simply not rewarding to find items when there are more bots than players and the economy is the same as non ladder in two weeks
