Like other have said, theres a guy on the blizz forums with the same problem, maybe those egg heads made a mistake and reverse yours

Yea, that post gave me a bit of hope. Seems like they may have made a mistake and will reverse it, or it was related to D2JSP trades. On the upside I've got beer to drink and critical role to watch so not a terrible day to deal with a ban lol.

It doesn't sound right that blizzard can simply just ban people's account and not reverse it. It's almost like they are forcing people to have to re-buy D2..

Since I have plenty of D2 experience, it's safe to say that you used a maphack that recently got hit by a banwave.
People assuming that people are getting banned for lootfilter - you're delusional, been using lootfilter since the start of D2R, you can't get banned for modifying a simple .JSON file which are literal text strings, that can't be backtracked by Blizzard unless they check files (they won't cuz are the worse coders).
People assuming you got hammered for using JSP, I've known people use JSP for over 10 years and never hit with a ban for the reason of them using D2JSP - blizzard doesn't care about JSP and you can clearly see it on the forums, hundreds crying, zero response from blizzard.

Put your cards on the table and admit you did something nasty to receive a ban message "Exploit", MH/botting/client/packet modification/CE/memory reading/writing - up to you, but making such a topic claiming you were falsely banned without anyone else having the same issue, you're just straight up lying us expecting to believe us you got banned for nothing.

You sign up for it when you agree to the TOS

I have translation mod installed,,but all my friends got the mod installed is not banned, so this is probably not the cause

Look at my D2JSP account, I don't really have a reputation here. I just trade from time to time. I have nothing to gain coming here and lying about being banned, I posted here just to vent and try and see if anyone had a suggestion as to what could have gotten me flagged because I have NOT used any 3rd party programs, exploits, etc. I've played many games over the years and have been banned for a variety of reasons, this is the first time I've received a ban I didn't have some idea as to what the cause was.

I've read that you're having an installed mod, if you're playing online with it, you might be getting the hammer because of that, I don't know how the mod is treating the client/warden.



Sorry for not believing you but I've seen a lot of people cry especially on banwaves for MH/bots, perhaps you're innocent but I'd love to see an update from Blizzard and their response regarding your ban ^^
