idk what u were planning to do with them, even new players wouldn't need them as most rares or magic are better than 99% of the crafted.

Indeed 99% of them were trash.

I only planned to log out for a second, check a mule for more amethysts and Ral, then log back into my main and finish crafting another 20 or amulets.

I learned the hard way.

At least now I can potentially help others to never do the same, even if it's just for a moment.

Now that I am aware of this bug, I will not be keeping any crafted amulets in my personal stash of my main character.
Since I play hardcore, that isnt a habit I have anyway, but I would be horrified to lose my mains inventory or all the ggs from my first shared stash tab...

It's interesting that you have it documented on stream as well as stats of every single item that was lost. You might have the best documented case for sure.

Very sorry to hear about your case as well. Looks like you took every step to mitigate risk in general, even before it happened. Kudos to you on the diligence and for the documentation.

The crafted (and rare) jewelry have a lot of affixes and thus, a lot of text. They will set you more toward the 8kb limit than not.

Many who had similar situations but with less items or full mules said the same. The cases involved single-slot (rings, amulets) as well as regular multi-slot items as well.

Looking back at the images, I kept 97 amulets in my personal stash tab.

It was only meant to be for a minute as I check another mule with additional crafting materials.

All it takes is one logout and login for it to happened.

I did indeed buy a few items to recover, at least to wear the gear I had on.

But I certainly didn't have enough to get a good torch, anni, or any of the good sc's I already had on.

Sure, I could buy further items now. But the entire point of me crafting and saving up was to eventually make Enigma and build a fully-functioning hammerdin with proper mobility, clear speed, damage, etc.

As others have mentioned, I am now torn between quit and move or on play and recover.
