Well seal trick isn't much of a test now is it

I just use Chaos as a target practice range to test DPS/efficiency of clearing packs

New updated table for smite:
Eias -- Frames
050 -- 7
072 -- 6 Old d2 fpa limit
100 -- 5
140 -- 4
How to know the ias needed? use this formula -> (120*(EIAS - Skill Ias + WSM)) / (120 - (EIAS - SkillIAS +WSM)

For my experiment i will use:
Eias of 5 fpa = 100
Skill ias of fana aura lv27 = 37
WSM of PB = -30
so the formula would be like: (120*(100 - 37 + -30)) / (120 - (100 - 37 + -30) = ias needed to achieve 5fpa

46% ias needed to achieve 5 fpa with PB (like grief) + fana aura lvl 27
194% ias needed to achieve 4 fpa with PB (like grief) + fana aura lvl 27

against arach (10% slow):
68% ias needed against arach to reach 5 fpa (with fana lvl27 + phaseblade base)

against Doom rw holly freeze lvl12 (50% slow):
270% ias needed against Doom rw holly freeze lv12 to reach 5 fpa (with fana lvl27 + phaseblade base)

FAQ:
1) What is ias needed? ias needed = Gias = Gear ias = all %ias of your gear (including your weapon ias% like Grief)
2) Blablabla how much %ias i need with crap grief to get the juicy 5 fpa? with crap grief (30%ias) you only need more 16%ias like a highlords ammy!
3) Bubut.. if i have only fana lv20? I'm a poor uber smiterdin, you still only need a crap grief+highlords (gias=50%) to achieve 5 fpa smite
4) I'm a chad i use BA how much ias to get 5 fpa? 133% ias needed to achieve 5 fpa smite with berzerk axe + fana aura lv 27
5) ok, i get it, but why tf fana lv 27? well.. Because is the most reward fana aura lvl in my calcs.. Feel free to calc with whatever lvl you want, mate.
6) Yo, can you make about everything else? I don't have the knowledge/time to do that =P but if i see more eias tables of other users i can give a shot!
7) i will try to get some love to bezerk skill, but i would need some explain/help because of the new bug of dual wielding and auto wsm barb in d2r, pm me

My conclusion: you got 1 free fpa in d2r if you use the same gear before for uber smiter, thx d2r! If you want achieve 4 fpa you can too!

you guys should see laying traps and fire blast speed with ias claws n burst of speed

or frenzy barbs double swing and double throw on full ias

or broken ias strafezon lock / multishot.

I think it's a bug they need to address should never be intended.

legacy d2 is built around 25 frames per second. even if you had 100 fps the server ran 25 frames per second.

this cap is now removed, both server and clientside. this means that skills like firewall, firestorm, etc can tick more frequently, as well as how ias caps worked was screwed.

i hope they can fix this. but i will obviously change some gear on my zerker barb to reach next breakpoint (wich didnt exist in legacy)

Yup, assassins and druis are the most benefited classes for this bug, i don't know if/when they will fix this, some bugs have more than 10 years like the poison cloud
of nihlatak vipers or the dmg of souls, so if they fix great, but even this won't 'matter' some old breakpoints changed too with d2r code, so they need/should fix this too!

i need more tests about the old breakpoints with video to get more credibility, other users like me are reporting every frame who got eias ended in xx,00 frames now work!

example to clarify:
laying trap in d2 with GT without BoS would need only 42%ias to achieve 9 fpa, but now for d2r you should
get 9 fpa with only 40% ias (which is huge) all other ias who end in xx,00 frames got this (but i need more
videos so far i only have 1 video about xx,00 frames working and report of other users)

if someone want do the test try 1 or 2 GTs, without BoS with only:

a. less than 40% ias (to see the 10 fpa working as usual)
b. 40% ias to see if you get more laying trap speed (this would proove 9 fpa at 40%ias)
c. 42% ias to see if you get equal laying trap speed (this would corroborate the 9 fpa at 40% ias)

how to achieve 40~45% ias?
highlords+20ias gloves or 4x 15ias jewel (just to prove the point)
45% ias you can equip the cheap treachery
