Okay , I tested this method vs. 100 runs tonight and it absolutely checks out. I know that 100 runs in the grand scheme of things isn't a huge sample size. But the fact that this method got me the right direction 100% of the time leaves little room for doubt.

I still have a little bit of a hard time quickly recognizing the "clean" vs. the "messy" torch sometimes though.

Countess is easy, always turn left, portals down are always to th left of the direction of travel from the entrance.

That is make left turns starting from the exit and you will have no trouble finding the next level quickly.

Thank you. I knew there was a way to tell which way to go but your post explained it beautifully. Been running nith on my bowazon and now I can get to him even faster. It’s a good set of maps to run if your build is lacking resistances. He dropped me a Sur not too long ago!!

Does anyone know if player count effects key drop rates and if so how?
