this is also correct, and very good information we are not in disagreement, however i think we have started some kind of nerd off between ourselves which is potentially not helping the op.

i will apologise for this.

it can get very DEEP into calculations as to what is best in which scenarios, for example -res will generally be better if fighting a lot of high resist lightning immunes (well above the res cap)

personally i think maxxed light zon will just stomp everything so the difference is marginal.

general rule of thumb for me is try to keep +damage and -res balanced as stacking any single additive % bonus extremely high always has diminishing returns

lets talk only p 8 tz does that change the res for all monsters?

this javazon is only for p8 tz right now

id rather go - res all the way through ...

Pure pvm go -res man for sure. If you're gonna pvp on NL soon get both or a % dmg. I do great with my 9frw 15dmg 58life 10mdr 23mf sunder. It is everything I want in a charm

Well, i enjoyed the discussion none the less as i am a big enjoyer of the game.

as for actually seeing things clearly, i believe the EASIEST option for looking at how much damage you will deal is the following;

1. go to the d2r max roll char planner

2. put your exact character into the planner

3. go to the calculations section

4. select the monster you are fighting

5. choose the skill you want to see the impact of

6. make adjustments to -res / +dmg on your gear

7. look at the results

i hope this helps.
