yeah then not much has changed for you. vs barbs and other paladins that used to just bailout with charge or ww not a lot is changing. this is for classes that needed to specifically wsg to get away from you.

If you're fighting a wind druid as an example now, before if you got him in d2r like 80% of the time that guy was gone since you'd just stunlock him to death with smite.

Now that wind druid is going to reset the fight on you repeatedly and break your name lock by going off minimap. If you've been playing a smiter since d2l theyve got a stronger wsg but you can probably handle it. My ass can't lohl. Idc I'm bad at VT i'm not ashamed to admit it, i just fotm'd the shit when they removed wsg.

So yeah if you see a VT it's all skill now if they can beat you and you've been teleporting out of their smites.

Yeahhh I don't even bother dueling wind druids on a VT tbh as it is. 9/10 I smite their summons

so basically they cast, there is a start animation, it hits you, your FHR starts and then the end animation for their cast. Their animation wraps up, and they begin their start animation, it hits you, end animation. However, when it hits you with the end animation here, it does nothing.

They now have to start an animation again, and then it hits you- end anitmation etc not important- the important part is you getting hit here again.

You have that entire window from the last casts hit portion of the animation, and then it goes thru an entire new animation, and then thru half of the third before it hits you.

This is where your FHR is important, the faster you recover, the more time you have to fuck around with them in that window or retreat.

Has anyone noticed anything inconsistent with it being a "grace timer where you can't be put into hit recovery, after each hit recovery"?

would have to test this with 3 people, and i only had 2 including myself before i had to go to work. if you had two sins spamming mindblast at different intervals on someone you could probably find their grace period.

unless the grace period was specific to the original source. idk.
