Wow this game kinda sucks for a game that's pretty good.




PoE Is pretty good. It's certainly better than Diablo 3. But there is virtually 0 reason to farm PoE. Dueling is nothing, so you're really just trying to work on and improve your characters. However, your characters and their builds only stay relevant for certain amounts of times. Couple that, with the fact that fucking nobody plays Non-Ladder. And with that........

You're left with a modernized version of Diablo 2, with tight skills, interesting builds, and really cool synergies. But with 0 of the legacy that Diablo 2 has. People on here have worked on certain characters for over a Decade. I saw a trophy room fire sorc yesterday... he said he worked on it for 8 years... and it fucking showed. Nearly every item he had was an ultra godly rare with 2 sockets and perfect stats to his build, an item that probably only 10 that's equal to it exist in the entire world. All these years later.

Meanwhile I know a guy who nolifed PoE for years. he has like 25 headhunters and 10 mirrors.

And they sit on his old toons... doing absolutely nothing.

I won't be. I've never got the hype behind PoE. I tried it one time and quit. It just seems overly complicated. I have friends who play it and truthfully it just seems like a rinse/repeat cycle just like D2 is so whats the point in switching. I enjoy the MF aspect of D2 and the PvP. To my knowledge PvP in PoE is practically non-existent.
