Rod chastised people in support of public loot by suggesting we weren't open to discussion about private loot's implications or player expectations in general (even though our comments against it are just that, our expectations as players), and further told people to stop fighting against the idea of p-loot, not with each other. "Take a deep breath and relax" he said to critics, how patronizing. He has no problem with the labelling and attack of players as "purists" on his forum, many who are 20+ year players of this game who want to preserve its original core mechanics. Hasn't once suggested the frenzied group in support of private loot should "relax".

He further replied again using the verbiage that it would "definitely not be added at launch". I don't trust what he says for a second, I'm sure he'll be revisiting the idea in the future.

there's numerous reports of this.

no swearing, no vulgarity, no personal attacks - just outright forum suspensions for dissenting opinions.

Yea he did say that! I’m more concerned that after he told Twitter they weren’t doing it he commented to someone else reiterating it wouldn’t happen at launch.

But telling long time supporters ..... things like “Relax” and “You’re literally fighting against something that isn’t happening” after previously stating they were considering it, and then to continue on and suggest it still may be happening at a later date, is gaslighting his player base and talking down to them. Suggesting these same people are intolerant to hearing other’s opinions isn’t correct either, the majority are just voicing their opinions on the subject.

I wouldn’t mind if he was telling everyone to cool off, because everyone does need to cool off, but I think his bias is divisive. No es bueno.

Imagine getting banned / shut down on the official forums and then say it's because you acted completely reasonable. If your getting banned then you are acting unreasonable and idiotic just like you do on this forum.
