Almost fell for this as a little kid, but luckily they won't let you type your password in channel post 1.11 (I believe? Or maybe it was 1.12, it's been a while since I looked into it). Probably so many idiot little kids like me almost fell for it or did fall for it that they made it impossible.

Of course you can still type your password while you're in a game, but in channels it won't work.

On LoD if you try typing your password and pressing enter in any context in a channel, it'll give you a warning message and won't let you lol.

basic chat functionality to bring it in line with modern games. specifically, making it easier to talk to people, not having the chat automatically switch over to a new chat window, it actually working 100% of the time, etc.
auto loot into cube: simple enough qol change to alleviate looting issues
stacking over 99 in stash for gems: let the people hoard
more stash pages: see above
allow addons/changes: no botting, but think addons / weak auras in wow. people already editing files to change item text sizes/colors, why not just embrace it and let people customize the game ui how they want? at minimum i'd love to see buff timers, a damage meter, etc.

gameplay changes:
charm inventory: half inv or full inv of separate space only for charms and disallow charms in main inventory.
rework/buffs to both summons and melee/attack rating users
rebalancing of many underutilized skills, pvp meta be damned (balancing games based off of pvp in most cases is bad game design, change my mind)
new items / runewords every year or two

i have a lot more but these would be a great start

i agree it would be nice to see auras and different stacks on the hud for your char. it would be nice to see when BO is going to run out etc

I also like the idea of having mercs beable to sell items for you without going to tp. But thats a small one. And wont happen.

Buff and debuff tooltips with timers

Magic items drop identified (so you don’t need to pick up any Monarchs without the Jeweler’s affix)

Add input buffering to keyboard quick casts, making them function the same as a right-click.

Truly stackable runes and gems to encourage more crafting

Expanded crafting recipes

Loot-to-cube key binding for keyboard & mouse

Add splash damage on select melee skills

FCR on jewels would be nice. It would open up a lot of builds to more items.

Make farming gems less tedious. The new stash mechanism in RotW was a move in the right direction, but it could still be improved.

Change drop rates so that for every 4 flawless gems that used to drop, players see 1 flawless and 1 perfect. Same drop rate overall, less time spent shift-clicking between inventory, stash, and cube
