quick let me do some time trials in sample sizes too small to establish anything so that I can crank out content instead of just doing basic napkin math
a 125 fcr warlock with 'enough damage per hit' is going to have identical clear speed regardless of build. The only variations are in QoL, survivability, etc. Any variance comes from uncontrollable factors like monster spawn and confounding variables like player error.
not to mention obvious player error at the build stages as we stack about 175-195% fcr on a warlock instead of taking advantage of the higher fcr on weapons to open up slots like LoH
It didn't take very long into the release to figure out obsession eth archon staff was the best option because +skills matter more than anything else for damage, it frees up fcr slots and gives a huge amount of survivability and other upsides, and has better QoL than insight+pride when an insight merc actually leeches and survives on its own and doesn't blind targets
BUT MICROBOITOY, SONSOFASIN, AND REDDIT TOLD ME ARIOCS NEEDLE
