Points into Dex for block will scale your survivability more than going full vita even if you use spirit (and you absolutely should).

Fcr makes you tele faster so saying it’s useless is objectively incorrect. You get 60 from spirit and griffs so hitting a higher bp only requires 1 fcr ring instead of an soj. With the ring you also gain ml, resists and some base mana which is worth it for only giving up 1 skill pt.

if there are 20 enemies in a pack and you throw a fury into them
the 100% pierce build will release 100 bolts
the 82% pierce build will release 20-100 bolts, with an average ~70 targets hit
that 18% pierce is worth 43% more overall DPS, not to mention mana leech which is the entire point of using a dumb high phys java over tstrokes
The physical damage on your javelin is irrelevant beyond being a source of mana leech, it is just there to supplement your mana pots. You could have a 10 million fg java, in pvm all its doing is the same role as more potions or an ally with insight merc, and just having enough MAEK and blue pots already covers it

It would make more sense to have a 0 vita 500 energy zon than to not max pierce

you can gear like those suggested before, phoenix, jmod or spirit is personal not that big of a deal in general. only thing matter in pvm is 100% bolt pierce and hit 6frame throw speed. so 6/40 or 2/3/40 javaline is a must, anything else just up to ur own liking
