You guys are so dumb you don’t even know 9x pcombs and 10x 36/20s give more damage, defense and ar than 37x 3/20/20

You guys are spending like 10k per sc on trash, even a balanced build only uses like 18 of them

see this is one thing i was wondering... right now i collected a bunch of ar max life charms but non are 32020.
i am debating using thise vs lifers pcomb.
both obv have merit since people use both ?

Pcombs are not the way to go.

For one, it’s 6% ED per pcomb

With an average weapon damage around 325, 6% Ed = 19.5average damage

3x 3 max (same slots amount as 1comb) = 4.5 average damage
After zeal, fanaticism, and enhanced damage on gear, your zealer will have around 1100% ED
4.5 x (11+1)
Where 11 = 1100% in integer form
Where 1 = if you didn’t use + 1, 100% ED would just be 4.5 x 1, which isn’t true
=
54 average damage


54 is more than double 19.5

The tl:dr is that his statement about pcombs is mostly weong.

Pcomvs give more Def than 3/20/20. But pcombs give both less AR and damage than 3/20/20. Not to mention less life

3/20/20 > 45 pcomb

It’s not even particularly close

my charms are all around like 3-12-14 ish.

i am nowhere near close to be able to buy an inv of 32020 on d2r.

thats why i was asking mostly. i was debating even may be going for aura gcs for the + fanatism and spending a couple point in blessed aim for the passive bonus.
but yeah it sounds funny

Use mix of 10 max GCs + SCs on a budget

All najatara’s advice is wrong

You put remaining points after 96 into blessed for the passive AR bonus. Never put additional points in besides this.
