Ww sin, hybrid sin, nado druid, pnb necro, barb, bowazons, sorc, and even Javazons are all better 1v1 than a pure Hammerdin in PvP.

Hammers are not directional! It is SO easy to just walk down and shoot up, they literally can't hit you. Also claw block and dodge both avoid hammers. Yes hammers are strong, so don't get hit...

Now add foh/smite/charge, and pala will be tough for sure.

The only truly OP PvP skill in D2r right now is MindBlast.

I hope that they will give strafe to the act 1 merc, or give, say, chain lightning or hydra or orb to the act 3 merc. Give us a reason to use something other than the act 2 merc. Variety=fun.

And to be honest, I am very close to whipping out my visa for d2r right now. All this talk about new rune words makes me seriously salivate.
