Yes, this makes me question the IQ of people involved, or perhaps they rushed too much with exploiting the bug, without proper testing. Its also possible that Blizzard detected some anomaly and poofed the items after some delay, which made it harder to proof-check the exploit.

yeah my whole experience with d2 and d2r included is that you may get temp glitch on one char for a hour or a day sometimes it could be bad

you can switch to another char...

but his entire acc, none of his chars work! super sus LOL. the server doesnt respond to his specific acc...

When you’re dumb and lazy you grab the lowest hanging fruit.. not only is it a pain in the ass to try and set something like this up, item sites etc - you’d need to be at least older then a day reputable to actually sell anything.

There’s also the fact that prices on ladder drop so fast due to bots that selling at 3k when in a week or two these will be worth about a a third of what it’s worth today..
