If it was runes, yes bulk of same item. If it was different defense enigmas, then yes same item in bulk, but same roll of item in bulk? I haven't seen that until now in D2R. Also his defense was he traded in game items for them from different people... no way.

If what you say is true and I was in your hypothetical scenario about someone selling me multiple duped enigmas, and I profitted from them, I'd just return the FG-- I really don't see what the big deal is and why you didn't do this in the first place
