Quick numbers comparison:

GG 100k fg 3 fire / 3 fball / 3 fire mastery / 2 sockets orb + Flickering:
57k dps vs. Infector

30/30 sword + 3/20 hat:
56k dps

Eschuta + Flickering:
49k dps

Oculus + Flickering
46k dps



I'd say from the cost/performance perspective, the 30/30 build seems attractive to be honest :) It has other issues though, like survivability and QoL. Maybe not a concern in Softcore PvM.
If you only go against the regular monsters (avoid fire immunes), then the Occy build is on par with the 30/30 build.

I'd never make a crappy build which sucks at pvm and pvp. Fire sorc is an in your face build. You don't play her glass cannony.

The PvP 95es fball sorc build is completely different, and actually using a Shako :lol:

That wasn't the point. You don't play her as glass cannon because she is in medium range to everything. A 30/30 fire sorc is marginally faster vs sundered enemies, offers no mf, no survivability, nothing. It's like those tigertail noobs who insist on a phoenix and 30/30 on a glass cannon char in melee :lol:
