Same as it's just Blizzard at this point. I think a valid argument could be made to prove that they plan to sabotage Diablo 2 to make Diablo 4 look better. Blizzard wouldn't release something that will hurt Diablo 4 sales without a motive.
Seems to be a trend with bliz remasters. Promise purist experience before launch, steal all the boomer's preorder cash, once they get all that, cater to the casual zoomers by adding things the original demographic didn't want. They're expert double dippers
