Nice!! You’re definitely right about Andy. Good info for me going forward

Thank you!

You're the one to be thanked =]
Just to be sure, you confirm that during all your tests, the area was terrorized, right?

Wow appreciate the extensive testing and follow ups. This is great information - guess there is limitation on the loot table drop rates as it should be showing the separate rates for TZ regular and TZ quest bug.

Time to make new characters!

Yeah, the guys at Maxroll probably didn't bother, since it requires a trick to have both quest & TZ drops, Andariel excluded.

Why would you ever want to remove duriel's town portal scrolls? It's a reliable way to farm them.

if warlocks get nerfed, so do portal barbs

Reviving thread with question and an update...

I got the Qbug characters setup on an alt. I can confirm that the Qbug works in terms of no drops of gold and junk items (as expected).

However, I am noticing that the quality of drops from the Qbug TZ kills are substantially worse than regular TZ boss kills (i.e. lower TC items usually). What is most noticeable so far has been the NO drop in act boss statues...

Granted will probably need to do a lot more runs to confirm this (only was able to test 3x 30-minute Chaos / Qbug Diablo sessions) but very odd to see 0 statues drop from Qbug TZ kills whereas I would previously get 1-4 consistently in regular TZ kills during the 30-minute sessions.

If this is true, then the drop calculator websites are all correct and there are only three distinct drop table TCs, where in case of Baal:

1. No Qbug, No TZ boss Kill = Baal(H)
2. Qbug, No TZ boss kill = Baalq(H)
3. No Qbug, TZ boss kill = Baal(H) Desecrated
4. Qbug, TZ boss kill = Does not exist separately on websites, seems to reverts back to #2 Baalq(H) drop tables - current theory, need to be confirmed with more testing

Unless someone else can confirm that they have obtained the higher TCs from Q-bug TZ boss kills (e.g. T87 items from TZ Andy using Qbug) or act boss statues from Q-bug TZ boss kills?

Update: Confirmed with another friend who has exclusively been running Qbug Meph most of the season, including when it was Terrorized, and he has not looted ANY statues. Seems like Qbug kills overwrite TZ drop tables unfortunately...

The lower TC is expected, except with Baal i guess.
Regarding statues, it's not surprising either, considering they are technically not included in the regular & quest drop pools.
However, it might become more interesting in the next season, cause they'll supposedly be injected in non-TZ tables as well.

Yes, next season might make it worth while if Statues are added to non-TZ tables. But won't help with farming for T87 items.

Just ran regular TZ Meph for 30 minutes, got 3 statues (as expected). Will try with Qbug character next boss rotation but seems to be pretty clear you can't get the TZ desecrated loot table if you kill it with Qbug character.

The tables are mutually exclusive, yes.
When it comes to TC87 item drop rate specifically, quest Baal is still significantly better than TZ Baal.
And regarding other bosses, well, there are quite a lot of lower TC items of value, and they drop a lot more often on quest (vs. TZ).
The interesting part is, even if Blizzard makes non-TZ statues drop a lot less, the junk removal from quest drops might actually compensate, or maybe increase the chances.
