Actually need coh for infinity so thats lower frame which is not ideal.

But I still dont see how arioc + duress + gface beats vs hone sundan + treachery + gface vs boss.

Its not for ubers. For boss likes Diablo or baal.

Because of max speed, cannot be frozen (Baal especially), damage that you get from +4 might aura and merc gets +4 might aura and +4 to jab. Cold damage from Duress slows down bosses even more. Open wounds stop any regenration. You might not do ubers but that's rather useful vs uberdiablo to get an anni. The merc leeches so much with 65% deadly strike that he never dies.

ALL weapons are basically max speed for jab. So no need that condition.

I'm just trying to justify 0 CB on weapon vs 65 CB for bosses man. I don't understand how that even makes sense.

Dying is not really an issue. Hone Sundan with 1 Amn basically never dies unless he stays in Diablo lightning attack which kills all mercs anyway lol

Ber-ed Eth Reapers was my go to choice always and I'm starting to think that might be better since it literally slows down diablo like 90% after lythergy + 10% slow from arach + descript. lol

You can stack as much CB or damage on a merc you want, he's barely going to scratch the actual high hp bosses like p8 diablo let alone the millions of hp on p4+ baal or ubers.
If you're fighting p1 bosses, what build can't kill them without caring about merc damage?

it was a debate with poison nova necros years ago, you could have a decent P8 clear speed in chaos with 51k poison nova over 3.9 seconds after -resists, but that meant taking 40+ seconds to kill diablo. The hone sundan merc actually winds up landing less crushing blows than the infinity merc because of conviction's -% defense, but the fastest and highest CB infinity build still does basically nothing to speed this up, between the huge damage penalty, blocking, chance to miss and cb just not being a very effective damage source.

This is my old video with bered eth reapers, gface, treachery. It literally does 30 to 40% dmg to p8 diablo in the first few seconds. Thats from CB.

Without CB that wouldn't happen.

Dont think I can agree with gaining couple levels of might aura justify losing big crushing blow to be honest vs p8 boss.

But good insight for sure.

Might end up going with the same bered eth reapers because of massive slow to just standstill and deal damage now that I cant just freely deal dmg without care for 10 seconds 🤣
