I definitely remember it, I took screenshots and was posting in a discord group. I’ve never heard of that rule though Is that somewhere on a wiki page or something? This was back around 2019 and it was on the plugy mod but idk if that is relevant.
I think there were multiple things that broke this. An item trying to drop that wasn't possible was one of them. Set items I don't think count. But overall it wasn't possible.
Then you add in other issues that might have broken it, such as modded servers, D2R might not have kept the rule, this new expansion might have also not have kept the rule, the developers had no idea the rule existed, the developers broke the code that initiated this rule. All possible.
No I've had dual set item drops on Dia or Meph.
I think this is a Legacy thing and does not exist on D2R anymore,
Either that or it has never existed, but I would lean towards Legacy =/= D2R. And pretty sure it was only for set items, not uniques.
I corrected this a bit in the post above. I don't KNOW if sets counted or not in the first place.
