Honestly ,half the time my expert remarks are troll. I know you must of caught on by now. I think the Cstrike thing came about from appearance more so than gameplay.
What setup would you use barb vs ancient uber ? Honestly running more damage reduce would be helpful, at least a dungo which I didn’t have.
Also agree on the life tap over ride issue. I wouldn’t run that Merc for Ubers again

grief stormshield dracs goblin string raven angelic. helm/armor for res, could use gface too
lifetap wand on swap, use concentration. youre basically a smiter
but idk havent actually tried it
I did concentrate barb uber runs in early ladder, in the first d2r hc seasons. It's very safe & stable.
Kill time is of course slower than smiters, kicksins or javazons, but it's not too too bad.
I used kingslayer, stormshield, duress (fade from treachery for meph), SoE (Tgods for meph), gores, gface, ravenfrost, angelic ring + amu, dracs. 98% CB and a lot of OW & DS.
