I’ve tried multiple setups and this is the one I like the most:

CoA with Protector Stone + a -15% req / +40% ED jewel
Insight Great Poleaxe (Archon Staff would be BiS since higher min damage = better consistency)
BK + SoJ
Arach
Spirit (35 FCR)
Amulet: +1 Warlock / 15 FCR / 11 all res

This setup hits 125 FCR with max res.
Shako would give roughly the same damage as CoA when you factor in the extra 40% ED jewel CoA Has. CoA also looks nicer and makes it easier to cap resistances, while Shako gives you more life and mana and mf

Performance-wise it absolutely melts everything — mostly 1–2 shots in p8 TZ 96.
Can handle Ubers (both Ancient and normal) very easily.

Damage feels very similar to an Obsession setup, but Insight means zero mana issues (no pots needed), and it’s way more budget-friendly.

Highest damage would perhaps be with Phoenix and a 2/20 circ + an fcr ring but it's way overkill and you'll lack with res most likely

I am using an eth shilleagh insight or whatever that staff is called
but I do have a CV and a GPA
I guess 50% undead damage too with the staff and better damage range

Pretty sure you are messing up ur ed by having a protector stone in there it bricks the other jewel too.
I run 2x ed/str jewels

Also how is this hitting max res? The spirit? With no res on rings sounds rough to cap res

Eh if you want to not ever die and lose your demon + kill p8 heralds with any mod quickly then you do need to think about it a bit. Theres still a BIS setup out there. And depending on access to gear makes you have to think harder too

Afaik only the ed from the prot stone gets bricked if you place it second, not too sure tho.

You need some +5 all res charm, thats true, but with a 20 torch and anni its quite simple to get to 75% - potentially you could place x2 um into coa and you have max res without any charms
