My personal preference in order :

1.
Self-wield reaper, pride+hustle might merc
Best QoL, merc’s aura always in range, not relying on him to proc decrep (without enigma to reposition him its bad)
A bit less dmg than the following options (but still gg dmg)

2.1
eBotd TM, reaper+hustle might merc
Highest flat dmg (ideal from p1 to p6)

2.2
edeath, reaper+hustle might merc
Highest dmg for p7-8

3.
Same as above but with a5 Lawbringer merc.
He runs fast with frenzy, but triggers less decrep and no might aura (unless you put LastWish on off-hand, but then lifetap overrides decrep)

Hated using a1 merc, always out of range or dying.
Hard to say if I prefer using enigma… without self-wield reaper I hate to try to make merc attack phys immunes… he always just do his own business or get stuck behind.
Can always use hustle instead of cta on swap, cuz you don’t need more life from BO anyway, so triggering BoS can make it easier with the ias bp. But it’s a bit lame to trigger it every 2 min with 5% ctc…

Many many options… its all about your personal preferences.
For me, QoL is the most important factor.

archon has 91 avg dmg and 1 less range adder
so TM clearly wins

eDeath starts to do more dmg than eBotd TM at higher player count due to more CB% and higher monster's hp
So if you play mostly on p1 to p5, eBotd TM is best dps
but if you play mostly above p5 then eDeath is best dps

And like I said, self-wield reaper may be a bit less dmg than those 2 above, but self triggering decrep on a build that can't really control merc's position is a big QoL improvement.

Fury does not lack dmg... so may as well get some QoL improvement.
It also lacks mobility, so I really prefer frw on all charms, you don't need life, already 5k without any life charms, and 33% life steal

dps without decrep : 134.5k
dps with decrep (rarely active) : 201k

This shows why my personal preference is self-wield reaper.
Most of the time better dps.
But even when your merc is able to proc decrep on other builds, it’s not a lot more dmg cuz on the self-wield reaper you have a pride merc that compensates and brings the dmg to nearly the same.

Oh and look at the res on both builds.
