You gotta deal with ghosts. If you're surrounded by a couple of them, you have no mana even with Hunger. Dmg to mana doesn't work well either.

Also did this with hgko during the WSK terror. I have to say playing together with the supposedly subpar builds and supporting each other is much more fun, than running behind a mosaic mopping the floor with everything and crashing the game.

I think with dracul's grasp, a necro wand, inner sight and jabbing, ubers shouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't try to do ubers bow side though. I've also defeated the ancients with jabbig only (leveled her first as javazon till she could wear WF):
