ive always put a raven on my melee chars. the cant be frozen/dex/ar are just too good imo.

Ring choices are entirely dependent on build and matchup.

3/20/20 is significantly better in both those cases, so no, in no way does it depend on your build and what you're up against

Thats 9 avg dmg increased
Thats 0.75 dmg after pvp penalty and 50%dr

10-20 cold = 15 avg dmg
Then in most cases I assume opponents had less than that, but lets say they had flush max cold res and a ravenfrost
Thats -65res, and +40% reduction from sorb
Thats 14.85 dmg increased /6 = 2.475 avg dmg after pvp penalty and resist/sorb

2.475 > 0.75

Even if opponent has 0%dr,
2.475 > 1.5

Even if opponent had enough stacked res to end up at 0% instead of -65,
We end up with the exact equivalent
1.5 = 1.5

Who cares about price ? Would any of your smiter / barb / bowa / zeal or what ever melee / physical pvp char use 2 ravens instead of a decent melee ring ? No.
