It's your call how you want to play. Most people just want a second acc for the utility or "sit in base" as you said. I.E., a barb to BO, sorc to enchant, sorc or something to rush yourself or tele to mf bosses or uber bosses for the other char to kill, etc etc. Some people do try the "multibox teams" where they play all the toons at once, but in terms of min-maxing it's worse than just playing one for mf lol, since if you're truly "min-maxing", you're really just teleporting to elite packs and moving on to the next one when it's dead. I suppose if you want multiple toons to be lvl 90+ you'd benefit from playing them all actively at once.
But just having the 2 additional players in the game helps with MF and runes right? Because I read that having 2 additional players in the game reduces the “no drop” percentage, is that right?
And then if the 2 additional players are partied and close there is even a bigger boost. Can someone confirm on this?
The reason I ask is because I MF as a bow zon and I clear everything - typically doing chaos runs. So it wouldnt be “too” difficult to bring them along
