I mean, I played when I came back without wsg and did fine. I even recall Jas or whoever laughing at people who couldn't pk me, and I quote "he doesn't even wsg, wtf". So yea, I mean I can do that, I would probably play necro. But to be completely honest, I have been using wsg myself for the last 5 years, and it will probably take me just as long to adjust back as anyone else who plays nowadays. But it isn't something I am really concerned about. I think I used 142 fhr on nec anyways in these types of situations.

I'm not trying to attack you, or deny your skill. I've seen you pk, and I know you're competent. But, you wont win that matchup.

Of course, we can agree on no dclaw etc I don't mind. The point is, I think you know as well as I do, that WSG is massively good for the state of PvP. Can we adapt? Yes, of course. Will d2 die because of no WSG. Of course not. Will it be significantly less competitive? Yes.

idk about less competitive, its hard to explain something that has been experienced first hand, but there is a definite rhythm to the game that wsg completely did rid of

maybe a better deal, since we know you are a much more skilled dueler than I am, is to have someone on east duel me with their sin, and I use my east necro, this way we match a closer representation of what d2r will be like. Of course, I will refrain from using w swap during the duel. Just have to find someone who is at my skill level.

Duel Necro vs Sin.

The rules are as follows:
Necro no WSG
Sin no ww/dclaw/kick/etc. Pure trapper only.

He's not a sin main, you're not a necro main, however both of you are competent in the respective classes.

I mean this is a slippery slope, and I'm now seeing the issue as you point out. I do not deny, that you could easily kill some rand without WSG. LOL we both know there's a massive skill discrepancy between the higher tier players and people who pub duel. Maybe we find an FPK player that isn't considered super good, but up and coming and has a good grasp on the interactions of pvp?
