lmao
eating an invi train on 15k ibs dmg will instant kill anything
i had hopes for d2r they will totaly ruin the game
even though there allready some retarded shits ( no wsg no str bug kick ignore def/block swirls are op as fuck etc .. )

back to legacy/asgard/d2ga to keep the fun

I'm sure it will be fine bro :) it might break pvp entirely but hopefully it doesn't... I think it's exciting with something new.
D2OG will always be around as you said, or why not enjoy both come these updates to d2r hehe
I doubt they'll go as far as 15k spirits/spear though but i have a feeling they wanna upp it upwards 9-10k maxed out. And probably teeth will get some love, has to get, if its gonna deliver any dmg in hell mode.
that, or maybe its just my old inner bone necromancer main thats currently speaking

Necros are already extremely good for PVM

sure but the bone skills alone (not the poision and bone skill tree, aka ce and psn aswell) are extremely underwhelming

every ladder, PVP items sell for more and at a much higher velocity than simple PVM items.

People are PVMing to find the items to sell to the PVPers, as those are the items that have value, and are typically not very good for PVM.

If you take away that market, you are removing the vast majority of the market, and thus, take away the majority of incentive to MF.

The main thing that drives PVM, is the psychological boost of finding a "GG Rare item" to sell for high amounts to profit. Without that psycholgoical incentive, the game dies quickly, because if there is no incentive, there is no reason to kill Baal 10000000000000000000 times.

The success and longetivty of D2 is the economy surrounding PVP, and the terrible drop rates to find those PVP items.

Well said. 100% truth. People can participate in pvp or not, but to think it's not essential for the health and longevity of this game is just ignorant.

This post is a violation of the site rules and appropriate action was taken.

For example, they are buffing necro bone damage

How does any rule change going to lower necro damage back down to an acceptable range, when there damage is already and they are already a top class?

There is no items that effectively can lower Magic damage by any significant amount. Especailly ones that dont ruin the rest of your build, thus weakening you.

Blizzard doesnt know what they are doing.

youre assuming numbers before they've been given.. maybe the buff would be to mid tier levels and taper off into normal amounts.

youre just assuming at this point and look retarded

a 10% buff is a 10% buff to an already #1 character. It doesnt matter how much the buff is.

That's a lot of proposed balance changes in one go for a game that's been unchanged in terms of balance for so long. I don't trust them to get it right.

So I mostly feel apprehensive after reading that blog post in its entirety :/

but it matters at which point it gets stronger..

lets say they do add 10% onto the end of w/e skill and it blatantly has the community complaining how imbalanced it is -- dont you think it would be in their best interest to revisit and balance it again?

4 months of an op class isnt that bad.. we've had outliers for years now
