i dont think thats a bad way to fix it tbh. it might sound or even be lazy regarding sloppy coding practises to not fix the root and just make it work quick and dirty. on second thought its still better than before, because overall its an advantage since the old ias does work now and on top there are scenarios that are now better than before. Even better than FRW and teleport would imho be some sort of a leap attack, its a fucking werewolf. He should be able to jump further and quicker than a barb. It would also add way more fun to wolf playstyle and high FRW as well as teleport wouldnt be needed. Imagine namelock jumping on enemies in wolf form followed by a fury hit.

It will never happen but well, maybe we get some 2-3% increase in dmg as additional "buff" :P if at all.

I agree it is not the worst, at least low and mid play got buffed lol, but to be honest majority of players do end game/pvp content, it is good at least they recognized this was a terrible nerf for end game and went back to the old formula. Ideally the formula at beginnning of D2R would be best, 3 FPA druid did feel like it could be taken seriously in both PvP and PvE, I did quite a bit of pvp and it was much fun 5/3/3/3/3 fury is a lot different in PvP than 7/4/4/4/4, I felt it was only missing a passive FRW skill, and then it would be like B or B+ PvP tier. Currently it is like C at best.

I've played with and talked to a lot of wolf druid players and I've never come across one that was complaining about beginning- or mid-game experience and viability. What kind of shapeshifting players are spending so much time in normal and nightmare difficulties that they needed these changes? just mind boggling to me...

I mean, I guess this helps LLD fury druid players, right? I dont know anything about LLD but I'm assuming they benefit from this somehow...or at least I hope so.

Nah, lld fury does 4frame with 5shael sup naga with a 20ed 15max jewel. Their proposed changes dont do anything

This is true, only difference would be fury auto aim, but smite is unblockable and always hits…

So PTR about to be over, anyone did some testing to see if it is exactly like is today for Fury? Or any improvement at all?

luuul. Good to know we are inching closer and closer to ladder while wolf druids are essentially in the same exact spot before the PTR. The level of incompetence is actually insane

Not gonna lie, I completely stopped playing D2R after that fiasco even after they reverted their nerf. I'm fully aware I'm being a whiny stubborn bitch about this and I don't have any problem with that. But I'm not gonna sit around while these developers, who have proven they lack any sort of concrete knowledge about shape shifting classes and their core mechanics, tinker with this class and act like they know what the hell they're doing. And meanwhile, other classes are getting significant changes and buffs when they're already overpowered (i.e., sorc & pally). This game really upset me, tbh. I would def come back if they made it so we can get IAS on other gear besides the weapon.
