Anyone know if we start out at 99? Level 1? Gear or no gear?


They doing this like the old diablo 2 PtR from like 11 years ago? Or they gonna give us fully loaded 99’s just like last weeks PtR??

I didn’t see it but I’m riding shotgun in the car with spotty service atm

Didn’t they talk about fhr diminishing returns? I didn’t quite understand it but thought maybe you can’t super lock anymore.

i used to main hybrid zon with 3frw/20/20 scs, Max block and 10/20/20 in the passive tree build. super OP on og d2 thats why i advocate for wsg XD

edit. was fun teleporting everywhere on other ppls screens lol

I'm really confused about this fhr gameplay changes. Anyone understood it and can clarify?


1-Character hit block will no longer apply while your character is playing a skill pre-cast animation (Block will still trigger for the skill's post-cast animation).
2-Changed how attack speed is determined while dual-wielding weapons. Swapping weapons between hands should no longer result in dramatically different attack speeds.
3- Character hit recovery will now have diminishing returns when being hit by another player.



Developer Comments: We want to fix some of the awkward lockouts that reject player input from casting skills. For PVP, we added a way to reduce hit recovery spam to prevent edge cases of characters being locked out for too long.

for FHR diminishing returns its really up in the air what it really means

do you stop going into FHR frames after a certain number of hits in succession? MB locking will take a hit

Ya this is the quote, I imagine you can lock people but only for so long, might be a cool down and have to try fhr lock again. This plus running might be really difficult to trap people?

Yeah, speed runs don't have anything to do with this point, which is why I asked to be sure.

Anyway, we found the a person who wants the change. Cool, still doesn't make any sense and still is not something the community wanted.
