Is there a reason the community can't just re-balance the rules like they've been doing for 2 decades now? The community is the one doing the balancing so I'm not sure why you're worried about changes.

Yah it is hilarious how poorly balanced PvP is, and even more hilarious that people are over here deriding any changes in the event it "breaks" balance. It is as if the game was clearly not designed around PvP...

The only thing consistent about the diablo community is how braindead most of the playerbase is. It is all emotional connection with this very old, but fun game - nothing logical.

Diablo 2 is overwhelming a PvM game. lol.

You really like PvP and that's fine, but the scene is absolutely tiny and total trash. There are tons of bugs with popular builds like ghost sins still. You can like D2R PvP and accept that it's still considerably worse than LOD PvP was and LOD PvP wasn't great to begin with. PvP is a very small part of the Diablo 2 playerbase and always has been.

I don't know if people still duel on Open Bnet but that's where all the really skilled people used to do it.

There is no items that effectively can lower Magic damage by any significant amount. Especailly ones that dont ruin the rest of your build, thus weakening you.

Pvp'ers mad cause they'll have to rework rules constantly for each ladder.
PvP will die from all the changes they'll make every ladder while their trophy chars can only be viable during certain seasons.
