Mine is crashing a lot more now than it was compared to when I first got this method to work. Most likely reason is on my end, but I can't figure out why considering I have an above average home built pc =\

Reminder, Blizzard is actively working on fixing their game and there are new patch updates basically daily. You need to be on the latest patch on all games and often you need to log out and reload all clients when there is a new patch. Most of these crashes are related to failure to have the latest update patch on one or more of the D2R directories.

What do you mean? D2R uses close to 8gb EACH. 50% of 32gb on 2 clients sounds right. That's what sucks, you can turn down some settings but really you're just lowering demand on GPU, not much on RAM.

How’s playing two copies of the game not legit if you paid for two copies?

That's the thing, on your screenshot, both instances combined use about 8GB, hence my question.

it is 32gb total... 16gb is left unused hence 50%

Yeah, i saw the 50% memory used.
But i also saw that 3+5=8GB, not 16, which means something uses 8GB more (or he has 16GB total, not 32).
