Theres absolutely a way. I can list a million reasons why the supply so drastically outweighs demand atm but im on my phone and in bed lurking so im not gonna go thru the effort. Tldr no-PvP/sunder/less players s2/less casuals spending/less whales/mass bots/2week breakpoint where most are geared etc.
Add Fear mongering and alot of messages about dupe method being passed around? Double this effect instantly.
Ur underestimating how many bots some ppl run and conglomerates of resellers plus trading / rmt.
I had 200 bers on S1 after selling 1 top tier rare at one point without even trying to stack runes. Randoms would see this and say I was a duper.
This.
There is no evidence of duping. The chobot issue seems more of a lag issue with rollback from server hoping during clone spawns on multiple servers.
It’s likely that it kept rolling back. He noticed he was keeping enigma. And just kept selling for fg. Obvious multi doing obvious multi shady shit.
Anyone with a dupe wouldn’t be duping a pre made enigma. They would be duping a base and the runes so that all the enigmas are perm. As an white item doesn’t have an item ID and is given an item ID at time of the Runeword being created in it. Thus giving it a differen item ID if you dupe the white item base and then adding the duped runes in it.
The issues with prices is simple demand and supply economics.
It happens every ladder. Once the demand side of the equation has been filled, all that happens is supply increases, do to people being able to MF gesr themselvws. And thus supply goes up and demand goes down. This becomes a compound effect making prices crash quickly, and reach their bottom level. The bottom level is the price where it is still profitable for most for MF/bot while still trying to get lucky and find a valuable rare item for pvp.
Prices will go up slightly after a bot ban wave as supply decreases and demand ticks up slightly due to botters rebuying gear and cd keys to get going again.
