Yeah, I mean we're going to play regardless and adapt. The point we're trying to convey, is the game is more fun and competitive. I can l8z around the moor c/ting and never being on an assassins screen. But this ruins TPK / FPK and any 1v1 matchup with a sin. The fact of the matter is, at the higher levels of play, sins today's especially fpk players are much better and will be inescapable if you get MB'd.
Im not sure if I agree with it ruining things.
fpk and 1v1 vs sins existed before people knew to wsg and people were fine with it.
people keep saying trap players are better now and its harder to escape their locks than players back then.. but idk how much I agree with that personally.
besides learning to c/t (which may or may not be as relevant in d2r with 16:9 screenspace) and learing to use wsg, how exactly did they get better?
people had beastly namelocks back then.
I think people are forgetting the gods of old with how well they played given that they didn't use c/t and wsg.
