i can confirm on ptr right now they changed it back just tested MUCH better

They said they are still looking at ways to give us actual buffs, so maybe there’s still hope, at least class is playable in the meantime

this sometimes you gotta sacrifice a battle to win a war id rather they not break shapehshifting class than get everything at once reducing fireclaw synergies is a huge gain and the ar and rabies boosts will be nice

they will never do this im gonna let yall know now just like why they wont let werewolf forms use ele skills cause real ele druids will abuse the life boost and be even harder to kill

I am really disappointed with this whole fiasco. I probably sound like a huge whiner at this point but I'm making a personal decision to stop playing until they fix this for real. I dunno... playing in LoD was different because there was no chance or hope of getting certain issues fixed- at some point, the developers were like, yeah, we're not going to make significant changes to the game anymore so what you see is what you get. So, they stopped messing around with skills and stuff so it was like, alright, this is the way it's gonna be for the rest of LoD and all of the classes are going to be in the same boat. No one's getting any buffs/nerfs, so I'll deal. But now in D2R, its like, they are making huge and significant changes to pretty much every single class besides wereform classes. And I'm not really OK with the logic of, other classes are benefitting from these changes but wolf druids are either immune to the changes or actually get put at a severe disadvantage because of them. They have teams of people working on this shit but wereform builds are getting so strangely neglected that I don't even understand Blizzard's intent anymore. And not only that, they're saying they're going to make huge and beneficial changes for us, but their idea of that was the decimation of the skill tree which they only reverted due to severe backlash from the community. I'm not gonna lie, I don't know shit about video game development, but it seems like either SUPER lazy coding/programming at best (or downright incompetence at worst) to keep both IAS calculations in the game and go "yeah whichever works best is what'll happen!" They literally are getting the best suggestions for how to fix this from top wolf druid players like inkanddagger and others on their own forums and they are completely ignoring it.

I'm personally not super interested in waiting around watching all of these other classes get buffed to high heaven while the wereform classes either get nerfed or remain stagnant. This is getting super lame. I'm looking forward to see if the developers are truly interested in fixing this, but I guess what I'm trying to say is, I won't hold my breath and be scouring jsp/battlenet forums/reddit waiting for the next update at this point. I think wolf druids are in a pretty rough/dark place atm where it's going to be really hard to compete


And to the people thinking Blizz will actually allow you to teleport while in wereform- tough titties, it ain't EVER happening. There is a lot of opposition to this from non-shapeshifting players who think the idea of a teleporting wolf/bear is too OP, and that's what Blizzard is going to be listening to. We would be lucky to get a passive frw boost on Lycanthropy or something, but keep in mind blizz has not even mentioned any issues with wereform mobility...that crap is low on their priorities

Teleport in werewolf seems possible in my opinion, but a FRW passive would be enough, tele fury might be OP

I completely agree with this, we remained mostly the same, while we were supposed to be the class with the most changes/buff as per their official statement on 2.4 goals

They definitely need to address mobility, because this is getting dumb, how can we be the only melee class with no passive FRW skill or teleport, you would think that’s the first thing that comes to mind, perhaps in pve it is ok due to feral rage but even then every 20 seconds it runs out often.

Yea it's nothin but laziness. It will be buggy as best. Maybe it will be op or maybe it will be trash but even if it works, this design philosophy should not be encouraged.

Code that isn't properly written, that is not simple and clean - can cause lag and crash the game. Or bugs. This is not a good way to code. I don't know too much about code but from my brief research with it this is what I've heard
