You don't have to put unless you get mana burned

Thats where phys damage comes to play with some mana leech , rn i have 36-37 mirrored blades , full medic merc is great to keep mana when doing Tombs or other undead . When i had Mist mana was running out sometimes due too less phys and leech.

No, but it helps if you poke things with your void swap

That's why you have mana issues. Hellwarden's and opal is the way to go. Leech is unnecessary with how rarely you take damage and how much mana gets returned per kill.

You're missing out on quite a bit of damage (unless you're prebuffing) by not using Void and ars dul'mephisto on switch. You don't need CTA with this build because consume already gives you a lot of added health. You reach 125+% FCR teleport on switch by using Void and ars dul'mephisto, and void also gives you a lot more damage output (+2 to all skills and +15% magic skill damage). You then also use that to attack bosses, because you double dip on the Void magic skill damage, as well as lowering enemy magic resistances by an additional 20% with ars dul'mephisto. You then can also use laying of hands instead of worrying about fire resistance small charms.

You're also not getting any leech with this variant, which isn't a necessity with enough laek and insight, but it is super nice to have. You can get it in the ring slot instead of SoJ (which isn't the best ring choice either way for this build).

I created this a while ago and it has several different build variants in it, so you'll need to select the "Endgame" set from the dropdown menu for the best possible build, but this one does more damage and has 125% FCR.

Some gameplay here:

If you wanted to prioritize survivability (hardcore), I recommend using CTA and consume. Otherwise, CTA is not needed and is redundant for this build imo.

Yeah, I saw that. Can for sure swap and get 125 and higher damage at the cost of no battle orders. Can also just prebuff hex bane if you wanna go that route tho. I did at one point use a 2/15 and some leech on gloves but after we tested, don’t need leech at all. If you don’t run battle orders tho, you might need leech.

Self prebuff hex bane lasts a long time, if I modified the build at all I’d just do that. 75fcr frames r good enough

Hellwardens is probably the best item you can have in this build.
You don’t have a BO mana pool either so insight regen will be less.

I think that's the one thing we will always be able to agree on. Hellwarden's is the absolute best in slot for so many serious reasons.

I just can't go without that extra damage and extra teleport frame now that I've played with it. It's quite noticeable when you get used to it (+15% magic skill damage is roughly the same as +4.5 skill points into bane, and +30% with the double dip and -20% with the shield is literally roughly 50% more effective magic damage on weapon swap than Mist has = killing bosses twice as fast, which is super nice on p8 and/or vs Heralds). I'm also getting +3 to consume and defiler with void, and I don't have to do any gear swaps at all with it. One of the big appeals to me for using this build is also not having to recast BO every 2 mins. Instead, I just need to recast consume and hex:bane once every 10 minutes or so.
