Make a maxroll setup with this. I am pretty sure your setup loses against a vipermagi one with flickering flame. There is no need for 2/20 on a standard fire sorc either. Then you won't need aldurs on a sorc to cover for sunder :D 2x fire skillers can bring the damage higher.

Flickering flame build loses by quite a bit, actually.

https://maxroll.gg/d2/d2planner/r10106wp

A maxed-out fire sorc build will be slower and much more expensive than a nova sorc, though. Also, it's even more difficult to have non-zero Magic find on her. Probably a build to make when runes are cheap and you're already quite bored with novas.
Also, survivability is nowhere near that of a nova sorc, because your ES is around 75% unless you use stash pre-cast, and you obviously can't benefit from Insight merc. On the other hand, you don't have to telestomp anymore, you can just snipe things from far away, so maybe it's good enough.

Why would I use a 30/30 crystal sword? :D Full vita, no block, no ES, no fhr glass cannon weakling cannot be an end game char. To add to the insult, resistances aren't even maxed with full vita spec

Let's talk when you've had time to check the link in more detail :)

EDIT: I saw you've got a memory but you have got battle command and battle orders from "somewhere".

Yes, this one is assuming you're running with a BO barb  (referring to this one, full-ES 3/20 + 30/30 build https://maxroll.gg/d2/d2planner/r10106wp)

I agree it's a very weird build! Its only goal is to maximize damage vs. sundered fire-immunes.

Damage vs. regular monsters is very close to the flickering-flame based cheap builds, eg this one: https://maxroll.gg/d2/d2planner/nh0106xv

A more standard vita build would be like this one: https://maxroll.gg/d2/d2planner/8x0106et
You can probably pre-cast ES in town and then switch to CtA if you don't want / have a BO barb.

Check out real fire dominance. Even if you don't have a gg orb, a simple oculus with a fire facet is better than that 30/30 abomination on a sorc. Hell, if you're too afraid of random tele use a crap death fathom with a facet. Low cost version is a simple tal fire sorc. You can get -15% from parts and additional -15% from socketing. That's already good enough to farm all content with an insight merc. I don't get where all of the fire sorc is expensive talk comes from.

Sec, just noticed that you removed infinity from your build.

Vs. a sundered fire immune, there is no competition, that was the point. These guys slow you down the most.

Add infinity, still better than the 30/30 crap. I added tal sorc build to your link:
https://maxroll.gg/d2/d2planner/6s0106rf

No light build can have this much magic find and damage at the same time (tal sorc).

Tal sorc really hits a sweet spot, it's what I'm running myself at the moment (3-piece Tal though).

Re. your "real dominance" build, I'd say the 3 fire / 3 fireball orb is the tricky part. On HC, the 3/20 tiara is very rare already. I think botters don't even include the 3 fire / 3 fireball orb in their pickit tables, haven't seen a single one for sale.

As I said, a simple oculus would do the job. A crap death fathom is also cheap af (for the resistances). Never use echuta though :D
About the tal sorc and infinity:
She does 17311 average fireball damage. She casts 3.13 fireballs per second, that would make 54183dps. Without infinity a previously fire immune monster is going to have 95% res. With -30% from full tal with facets you get 65% remaining resistance, 35% of your damage goes through. 54183 *0.35 = 18964. She still hits like a truck even without infinity at the cost of 3x -5% facets. That's not expensive at all. I think melts Baal faster than a blizzard sorc with overstacked meteors.
